Our Coronavirus Response

Patients, Parents and Guardians,

Our office will be virtual effective immediately in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) social distancing request. This decision has been made with the intention of keeping both our patients and employees safe and healthy while doing our part to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

All appointments will be converted to Telepsych (virtual) appointments. Below are instructions on how to access and operate the website. As you are aware, our office requires a debit/credit card on file for our No Call No Show policy. This card will be used for payment unless you call to inform us otherwise.

All charges for appointments will be authorized the morning of the appointment. Please call our office if you need to change the card on file or would rather reschedule your appointment 817-778-8884.

As always, all medication refill requests must be requested via portal message to Dr. Shah or Barbara Johnson. The portal will still be monitored for medication refills and clinical questions.

Telepsych Instructions

Doxy.me is an audio-video platform (like Skype or FaceTime) specifically tailored for medical appointments. Telepsych can be accessed on your computer, phone, or tablet. There is no additional charge to use this service and it does not require any download or installation of software. You will, however, need the following:

• Secure and uninterrupted access to the internet (WiFi preferred)
• If on a laptop/computer: webcam and microphone

Because of a nationwide migration to telemedicine, the site has been experiencing delays and has been going down.  If this happens, Dr. Shah will call you and the appointment can be done over the phone.  Please give our staff the cell number you wish to be reached on so that Dr. Shah can call you if need be.
