What is Telepsychiatry?

TelePsychiatry is a convenient, secure, easy way to have your follow-up appointment with our Psychiatrist from your location without coming into the office.

All you need to start a telemedicine visit is a web link to our Doxy.me waiting room using a standard computer,  OR download the Doxy.me app on a mobile device. No special hardware or software is necessary!

What do you need for your TelePsych appointment?

• IPhone or Android Phone / IPad or Tablet

• Computer / Laptop with a Camera and Microphone

TelePsychiatry Appointment Instructions:

Thank you for booking your next appointment using Telepsych!  Here’s what you need to do:

IPhone / Android Device:

• Download the doxy.me app on your phone or mobile device

• Open the app and click on Patient

• Enter room url:  pbh

• Click Enter room

• Enter Patient’s Name

• Click Check In

You’re all done.  The Physician will be notified and will initiate the video.

Laptop / Computer:

• You need a Video Camera and Microphone

• Use Firefox or Chrome only

• Go to https://doxy.me/pbh

• Enter Patient’s name

• Click Check In

You’re all done.  The Physician will be notified and will initiate the video.

During your appointment:

• Pick a private place with good connection

• Try not to walk around w/ phone or device

• If you are on a phone and you receive an incoming call, the session will be momentarily disrupted until the call is denied
